With the purpose of promoting reading through the e-book; encourage the development of technologies applied to literary creation; support the marketing of books over the Internet and encourage authors whose means of production is linked to new platforms, the National Council for culture and the Arts (Conaculta) opens the third edition of the international prize interactive flip book in Spanish Paula Benavides, who will award the following prizes:
first of $300,000.00 AV (three hundred thousand pesos 00/100 M. N.)
a second place of $200,000.00 (two hundred thousand pesos 00/100 M. N.) weights
honorable mentions that the jury consider
Podran participating natural persons of any nationality and place of residence, individually or in group. Eligible artists, writers, animators, designers, programmers, musicians as well as creators of other disciplines that are linked to the development of e-books.
participants will have to register under a pseudonym and fill the log at the following e-mail address format: www.conaculta.gob.mx/ librointeractivo2013
e-book must be unpublished, written in Spanish, and be aimed at children and young people, in addition to contain text, image, animation or video, sound or music, so that the reader can interact with these elements to enrich your reading. Proposals that are only limited to fixed image will not be accepted.
the creators may sign animated interactive books in Spanish literary texts, developed for personal computers and tablets.
only completed and unpublished books will be accepted. Where something is authored by a third party, the creator will need to check the corresponding assignment of rights.
the book will have to be compatible at least with one of the following operating systems: Mac ™ os x 10.7 or higher, Microsoft ™ Windows ™ 7 or higher and a tablet with ios 6 or higher, Android 4.1 or higher. In the case of web applications, shall be compatible with the latest version of browsers: MozillaTM FireFoxTM, Google ChromeTM, Windows Internet ExplorerTM available at the date of publication of this call for proposals.
in both cases for download, installation and execution should not require additional software.
work will be delivered in the Center Multimedia of the Centro Nacional de the Artes, located in Rio Churubusco 79, Col. Country Club, Coyoacan, c.p. 04220, Mexico, d.f., from 10:00 to 15:00 hours.
this call will be in effect until 15:00 hours of the 18 of October 2013. No work will be accepted after this date. In the case of parts sent by mail or courier, the date of the postmark will be taken into account and they will only be accepted at the latest five working days after this. Shipments will be made by account and risk of the creators.
participants must provide their works in a cd or dvd, tagged with the folio number assigned at registration (section 3) and the pseudonym. As well as technical requirements.
Moreover, in an appendix envelope, closed and labeled with the same folio and pseudonym, shall deliver a tab that contains:

C) a brief curriculum sketch of the author or authors.
D) documentation evidencing that the author has the authorizations referred to in point number 6 of this call.
the prizes will be delivered within the framework of the 33rd International Fair of the
book children and youth of Conaculta who shall be responsible for the transfer and stay of the winners for the award ceremony, only in the case that you do not reside in the city of Mexico.
